I use bumper jumper in halo 2 and 3, but I've found i do way better in infinite with kbm. I think it's primarily because Infinite is way more vertical. In halo 3, if an mp map has verticality it's almost always segmented very neatly into 2 or 3 planes, like on Guardian or Epitaph. Infinite feels like it mixes up vertical accessibility more, so i do better when i can quickly look up and then back to where I'm going. Bumper Jumper obvioudly goated for controller users though, being able to jump, melee, and move the camera at the same time is ESSENTIAL in halo 3

I’ve never thought to raise my vertical over my horizontal; is this a Halo specific setting because of how much jumping there is compared to side to side movement? I guess if I’m nodding my head up and down more than side to side this makes sense. Just had been something I’ve never heard of doing in any fps or really any game in general…

Why do you keep pulling your sniper out when you know it’s out of ammo

I'm right stick heavy and I know it. I'm working on it almost every day. To combat this, I've turned down the sensitivity for my right stick to avoid windmilling. Is there anything else out there I could adjust?

my zoom button is the RS click - makes it really difficult for me to re-zoom in and aim after getting shot - any solution to this?

I agree Halo Infinite is definitely a lot harder to master and play than other FPS games. Like when i play COD every single person feels like a sweat and good at the game but when i play Halo Infinite it feels like not everyone is all that good and i run into players that are pretty bad at the game and i think this is because COD is just a lot easier to play and Halo isn’t. Don’t get me wrong COD does take skill to play at a high level and the devs of those games have straight up MASTERED the overall feeling and smoothness of the aiming on those games. Literally no other FPS can compare to how CODs aim feels.

I can’t believe he charges just $60 for a 1 on 1 coaching session. I never really think any of this stuff is useful or it’s just a bunch of bull sht and or a scam by someone but with him he be giving legit advice and knowledge. Ima have to see what’s up with a session.

While these are great tips for gameplay when matched with a fully engaged team, they are not very useful for the current matchmaking atmosphere in 343. Waiting for ages to get a game, only to be with the most unbalanced, and mismatched players. Had a game yesterday with a Plat V, Gold III, Diamond I and Gold VI - I messaged them afterward to see if they were a group, they were not. Comms are generally weak, as I have learned people have become allergic to headsets, and don't even ping. While you can be engaging in strategy on the maps, your team can be a let down - I've had games where I have gone, 25K, 10D, over two minutes in the hill and 12 assists, and we've still lost to a team that each had not more than 14 kills, but somehow were alive long enough to beat us at the obj? I do not understand Halo anymore.

I’m at Diamond 1 and it’s both great and terrible at times. A lot of people can shoot decent but it’s exactly what you talk about that separates the big wins. I notice a ton of cramming together and getting pinched a lot around this ranked. Skill is there but map awareness is a crap shot.
